I ordered a large Distressed Leather-look bible case. What I received was BBL590 which is a Medium size dark brown Bible case with an internal label saying: Made in China. Large. (Brand) - Christian Art Gifts. Although the external label also identifies it as a “Large - Classic†case, it’s dimensions more accurately reflect only a Medium size case. For study bibles wider than 6.7 inches, this case is not suitable because it just isn’t big enough. It’s external edge dimensions are as follows: Height – 10.75 inches (274 mm), Width – 8.0 inches (203 mm), Depth (thickness) – 2.5 inches (63 mm). I do not recommend this case for wide or large study bibles or XL bibles.I bought this case because the advertised dimensions written in the product description were larger. The Amazon listing marketed this case as having the following external dimensions: 11.3 x 9.1 x 2.5 inches. I fully expected to receive a larger case reflecting those dimensions. As it turns out, these dimensions are different to the dimensions of the actual case I received. The case has a noticeable unpleasant synthetic odour, and is probably made of a PVC material. The interior flaps are black poly or nylon material. Considering the additional international postage costs to receive this item, this case has been an expensive disappointment. As most of my bibles are large, I fully expect to receive cases which accurately reflect their advertised dimensions, when I submit an order. Very annoyed with this purchase.
This is lovely bible cover but it has a couple of flaws.First, the zipper randomly will not work. Very annoying and a serious problem.Second, it is rather large and my standard sized bible slips in it somewhat.Lookswise, lovely cover.
I like it. I'd give it a 4.5 star if I could. The only thing I don't like is the lack of storage slots on the inside. There's only one slot and it's barely large enough to squeeze in an offering envelope. Other than that it seems to be well made and it hopefully will be durable over the long haul.
This was nice, my father liked it very much, but it does not fit his New Open Study Bible, Large Print. I bought the purple one for me, and it fit my New Open Study Bible NKJV, large print edition, from 1990, but this one did not. We were disappointed, so will be returning it, and try to find another. (My large print bible measures 7 1/8th x just under 10 1/2" x 1 1/2" thick. The purple 'I know the plans I have for you' cover fit.)
I’ll be returning this, unfortunately, because thebdimensions are off. I bought my dad a large print bible for Christmas, and I checked the meaaurements on this and it should have for, but lacked about a half inch on either side being long enough.I only took 1 star for that though.Otherwise, it’s gorgeous in person, and feels really well made. I wish it fit, because it would be perfect.If you’re looking for a gift, I definitely recommend.
Update: I got a new bible for Christmas with a thickness is 2.2 inches and a width is 6.7 inches (instead of 6.5). The cover handles this size nicely as well.Very nice cover. I have the hard back version of the NIV Study Bible with dimensions of 6-1/2" wide x 9-1/2" long x 1-7/8" thick. It fits perfectly and is snug in the cover. There is a pencil holder inside and a mesh pocket that can hold more pencils/pens/narrower highlighters and the cover will still zip closed with no problem. The cover is faux leather but still looks great. The handle stitching looks think and sturdy. I'm very pleased.

Bought this Bible cover for my teenage son. He loves it. Quality product. Protects his Bible and he can carry pen/pencil and put papers in it instead of in his Bible which is hard on the binder.
